Alliance
Program
The
401(k) Alliance Program brings together the talents of a local Investment
Advisor, the Investment Firm and a Regional Consulting Firm. This
provides the Investment Advisor with a solid platform to solve his
or her client needs. Many clients were unhappy with the traditional
"Bundled" services due to the distances involved between
the investment firm and the client.
Under the new alliance arrangement the Investment firm "Bundles"
the areas the clients desire such as, all of the participant investment
information that allow the participant to have internet access,
800 phone access and receive his benifit statement directly from
the investment firm. The investment firm then downloads this information
to a local TPA and Investment Advisor to provide the employer with
local face-to-face services for plan consulting and year-end work.
This
is used in any plan that provides for the plan participant to direct
their own investment account.
These
Alliance services were created by Investment Firms to better meet
their client needs after an industry survey indicated that more
localized service was needed to address consulting issues by local
TPA's and Investment Advice by Local Investment Advisors
