August 30, 2001 -- The American Funds, one of the oldest, largest and well respected of Mutual Fund Families has appointed Northwestern Wisconsin Associates, Inc. (NWA) of Wausau, WI as a regional TPA for their Bundled Participant 401(k) Record Keeping Platform. NWA was selected following a stringent review and due-diligence process by the American Funds. As an approved TPA, NWA will provide 401(k) consulting and administration services to  brokers representating the American Funds.
